FAQ
FAQ
What is Raw Hair?
Imagine the feel of soft, natural hair that hasn’t been touched by chemicals or processing. Raw hair is 100% pure, unprocessed human hair collected directly from donors. It has never been dyed, bleached, or altered, so you get the authentic texture and look straight from the source. Each bundle is unique, with slight variations that come from a single donor, giving you that natural, effortless appearance.
How Long Does Raw Hair Last?
With the right care, raw hair can feel silky and look stunning for 2-3 years or even longer. Its longevity depends on how well you treat it. When you handle it gently, use quality products, and follow a good maintenance routine, it can stay as soft and beautiful as the day you got it.
Does Raw Hair Tangle or Shed?
Raw hair feels smooth and luxurious because its cuticles are intact and aligned in the same direction. This reduces tangling, so it glides easily through your fingers. While a little shedding is normal, much like your own hair, regular brushing and gentle handling will keep it from tangling excessively, giving you that soft, flowy sensation every time you run your fingers through it.
How Many Bundles Do You Need?
The number of bundles you need depends on the length you choose and the desired fullness of your look. Here’s a simple guide to help:
Hair Length Recommended Number of Bundles
10″ – 16″ 2-3 Bundles
18″ – 22″ 2-3 Bundles
24″ and Longer 3-4 Bundles

Tips
Tips for Maintaining Your Raw Hair Extensions
Here’s how to keep your raw hair extensions looking fabulous and feeling luxurious:
Use a Silk Pillowcase
It’s smoother than cotton, reducing friction while you sleep. This helps prevent tangling and frizz, making your hair feel softer and look shinier in the morning.
Don’t Overwash – Less is More
Overwashing can strip the hair of its natural oils, leaving it dry and brittle. Instead, wash your extensions only when needed, typically every 1-2 weeks, depending on your styling routine. This keeps them hydrated, shiny, and feeling silky.
Apply Heat Protectant – Your Hair’s Shield
Heat from styling tools can dry out your extensions and lead to split ends. Always spritz on a heat protectant before straightening or curling to keep the hair feeling soft and looking healthy.
Detangle with Care
Brushing harshly can lead to breakage. Use a wide-tooth comb or a brush designed for extensions, starting from the ends and working your way up. It feels gentler on your hair and helps maintain its natural texture.
Deep Condition Regularly
Just like your own hair, extensions need moisture. Treat them to a deep conditioning mask every 2-3 weeks to keep them hydrated and smooth. It will leave your hair feeling incredibly soft and nourished.
Keep Away from Chlorine and Saltwater
Both can dry out and damage raw hair. If you plan to swim, braid your hair and wear a swim cap. This helps protect it from tangling and feeling rough after exposure to harsh water.
Air Dry When Possible
Air drying helps maintain the natural texture of your raw hair extensions. After washing, gently squeeze out excess water and let the hair dry naturally. It feels softer and avoids the damage that blow-drying can cause.
Avoid Heavy Oils and Products
Heavy products can weigh down the hair, making it look greasy and feel sticky. Opt for lightweight leave-in conditioners or serums that keep the hair shiny without losing its natural bounce.
Store Properly When Not in Use
Proper storage helps maintain the hair’s softness and prevents tangling. Keep your extensions in a silk or satin bag, or wrap them in a silk scarf when not in use. This way, they stay ready to wear, feeling smooth and looking fresh.
These simple yet effective tips will help your raw hair extensions stay soft, shiny, and looking their best, so you can enjoy that natural, luxurious feel every day!
